I think the title says it all. We are getting our first tropical system of the year starting tonight. What fun, perfect way to spend the weekend.

Listen, I know florida gets hurricanes + tropical storms. But trying living up in the northeast, and having to shovel your car out of two feet of snow. Hurricanes are just the way of evening everything out, of your otherwise spring/summer weather year round

But snow doesn't cause billions of dollars in damage.

Keeping my fingers crossed that it does no damage there. We sure have had our share of rain here for the past few weeks.

Maybe y'all can set up some big ol' fans and blow it this way. We could use a little rain over here. Just wait until the IRL race is over tonight since my son and I will be at the track.

Ugh Arlene is giving us nasty rain. Its the kind of sideways rain that annoys you. Can't go to my house in the rain, will sink up to my ankles in mud.

All's well here on the coast, nothing much more than rain and wind. I haven't seen any damage. I think we got around 5.4 inches of rain, so not terribly bad.

Glad things are well holder. We got a crap load of the rain down here, I was on the East side of the storm where all the rain was. After getting hit hard last year by Charley, then worrying about the others... I'm already sick of spending a week preparing, and then another day indoors. I'll take the Hurricanes over blizzards or earthquakes though. I've lived through lots of blizzards, and the Earth moving would really freak me out!

SCREW YOU ARLENE! I missed getting to go to the grand caymans because of you! Cozumel was super nice though! on and 15ft seas straight for 4 days plays tricks on your body and mind once you are on solid ground.
