We have a black widow epidemic around here. Its gross. Killed 3 nests of them so far.

Amazingly we have not had bees- but my Mother has two yellowjacket nests- nasty little friggers them things are.

I do land surveying for a job and this new guy started on monday and today he stepped in a nest on the ground or near one and disturbed it somehow. the next thing his party chief new, he dropped everything he carried and his partner came running out of the woods with bees on his leg. I dont know how covered or what cuz i wasnt there but it sounded like there was a good bunch of them following him. Maybe a few went up the shorts he had on, i dont know. I wasnt with them heard thru some1. He went to the hospital. I luckily have managed not to get stung in 31 yrs.

Anyone ever have anything to do with mud wasps? Those things are terrible, probably about three times the size of a regular wasp.

found out the person working with him sprayed off on them after him came out of the woods and he got stung a couple times. Then he went to go back in and get some of the equipement he left.

Down at our lake now I think!

But we saw plenty of the friggers when we went Tubing Wednesday. Scared the bejesus out of us.
