I found Bees!!
So i was ot doing yardwork, and i go to dump out what was in the wheel barrow when I felt a shrp pain in my calf. I smacked that bee off and a couple more came...so it was time to start running, i had to drop one of my gloves because there was a bee in it, and on the way into the house one tried to get in my shoe. Now there is at least one bee inside, and my arm and calf hurt and are stiff. What i neeed to know is if i should do anything about the stings. I also need to how to get the wheel barrow out of the woods without getting stung again
Edit : Update: just after posting i went into the sunroom and saw the bee that came in. I also had a newspaper handy. Take that!!! I got the barrow back. Thats another.Bees 2, Kevin 2 If

Are you having any allergic reactions? Such as excessive swelling of the sting sights or difficulty breathing, or sort of hayfever reactions. Itchy eyes, running nose , etc.
Try taking benedryl (if you can), this will relief the sting sight itching / pain.
If you symptoms worsen, consult medical attention.
I found out the hard way that I have a severe allergic reaction to bee stings. A single yellow jacket / wasp sting, and I came to in the hospital emergency room. This was after being stung tons of times in life before.
Some people are not bothered by them, others have slight swelling / pain at the sting sights.
If you have any Adolfs meat tenderizer in your kitchen, try applying this to the sting sights.
There is an ingredient in it that will relieve the pain. Maybe the MSG.

Good thing you're in VA and not in the SouthWest. They've got those Africanized bees there. That alone will keep me from moving there. I'd rather deal with snowstorms or hurricanes.

My mom dug up a yellowjacket nest yesterday. It was painful.
I hate em because their nest is underground.
A white faced hornet went down my hubbys shirt a few years back. It left a lump the size of a lemon. I hate bees.
Fortunately, we don't have anything but bumblebees here in tear everything down and rebuild land. We instead battle black widow spiders.

Screw bees. Yesterday I was out on my back deck cleaning it out(water restrictions killed some of my delicate plants) I moved a pot of flowers- and there was a : and her creepy little egg sacks. I screamed silly and my husband sent them to hell where they belong.
