I wouldn't want to be within four states of Illinois if the Cubs win. That place will go nuts!

'Stros are workin' their way back in. I can't believe it, honestly. A 5 team hunt (as I type this) for the NL Wild Card. Cubs and Giants are slippin', 'Stros and Marlins are HOT, and Padres, well I guess there in there somewhere.

Nice race to the finish shaping up!

Oh, and in case ya don't get my choice by my name there to the left...

GO 'STROS!!!!!

The Yankees got spanked 22-0 last night, the Cubbies have a half game lead over my Padres, and there's still a lot of the season left to go. I guess that's why they play every game and keep score.

It still amazes me when I see anybody in the majors figure out what kind of a pitch it is, whether it's a strike or a ball, and then put the wood to it. Even Michael Jordan couldn't do that.

I was thinking the same, but against the Braves. I am a Mets fan myself.

I did not like seeing the Braves in so many world series over the past decade. but it made me feel better to see them lose them all.

One day the Mets might actually win another series. Hopefully before I die.

Sorry, guess I wanted to block that one out

The most important things is a close and exciting World Series. I hate sweeps. Yeah it would nice if it was my team doing that, but there is not as much excitement as sitting on the edge of your seat in Game 7 tied in the 9th.

My wife does not like to watch sports. The main reason is she gets into it way too much. She is one that will jump up and run around the house yelling at the TV. Its pretty funny to watch a little 4' - 11", 100lb lady run around yelling about sports.

Me, I just sit back with a few beers. I might say a few thigns hear and there.
