Going to Dublin Ireland

I'm going to take a 4 day trip to Dublin Ireland in early October. I was wondering if anyone has been there or is from there and can give me tips on what to see and do. Thanks.

I went in February of this year. I was out in the 'burbs staying with my friends parents, he lives in Chicago, but he is from Ireland. (actually he is a former Boss). I didn't go into the city, mainly staying out in pubs in the 'burbs. One cool place I do remember ( 
) is Johnnie Fox's - The Highest Pub In Ireland! I went for 4 days as well.
