I saw this pic in another topin on TMS... the HP numbers for the '05 seem to be wrong! this may be the japanese version though... do you guys get the correct HP numbers???

I LOVE THIS GAME. Best intro I've ever seen (except for Final Fantasy).
Has anybody ever noticed how classy GT games are?. From the music to the way the user interface is setup(compared to other games). Very nice. I now have some Nike cocept thing, an SVT Lightning(with NOS) and a sonic blue 05 Mustang GT(ohhhh how i long for a fox body).

Is it hard to play?
GT3 was very hard (at least to me), but GT2 was not hard at all.
I also should get my copy today. At least, that's what they told me at Best Buy.

GT2 had the best sounding ca rever and i bought 2 of them. Shelby Daytona Cobra Coupe! I beat 500hp cars with it and vipers with mods, awesome (arcade mode i raced other viper owners who had everything done to their car)

Well I have the game, and it looks awesome!!! especially with 1080i.
I did some licenses and they are the easiest of the series, so far I got done with IB and will finish the rest tommorow.
I can't put this game down!
Sound is way off, I agree about GT2 having them better, but it's still awesome. Well you guys won't be seeing from me often for a while

gee wiz... and I was thinking that they were gonna be within .1 seconds of their real lap time... it seems as if they didnt change the stats between the 05 and the 04, Hence the 290 something HP

OK . .got my game last night. Have only the #16 License remaining to get in Super License. Darn Nürburgring Nordschleife track! 
I usually get the licenses first, before I begin playing. Gives me a chance to drive different cars, and try the different tracks.
I LOVE THIS GAME!!!
But I'm not a big fan of the Autosave feature. I like being able to buy a car, and try it out, and if I don't like I don't save the game . . .I just restart. I bought a Aussie Falcon GTP with my 100K from GT3.
The Group C cars are INSANE. I love the way the cars bounce around at high speeds, as well.
One question, in simulation mode, I don't see the 2000 Cobra R in the Ford dealer. Just the 2005. Is it unlockable? Do any of you have, or have seen a Cobra R?

Hey Tom, or anyone; how/where do you get the Magnum 500's for the Mustang. I can't find them in the wheel shop. I did see something that looked close to them, ut they have about 8 spokes.

Ok so I am just toying around with my 100k right now.. not really putting much into racing. I have a fully modded 05 GT that I went the s/c route. Put me at 530hp. I am thinking about starting again and going the stage 3 n/a route which showed up to be about 665hp!!! Thats insane

Game is great, but I expected more domestic cars. For example, there is no Trans Am in the game, but there is Honda Odyssey Minivan. Or all used cars are Japanese cars. Only 2 Mustang ...
I got my game yesterday, I passed 4 put of 5 licenses, I had school so I didn't get a chance to play that game a lot. I also don't like auto save.
