Lucky you! I've never been there. I've been dying to go there for years, but never get a chance. My church goes out to stubenville (sp?) every couple years, and usually stops there on the way back. My sister went there with them once, and she hates roller coasters! Oh well, maybe someday....Have Fun for me!!

ok...I fianlly got back to a computer...sorry no pics, but It was pretty fun. It started raining at abouto 2pm and only quit long enough for me to get to ride Maverick once....but it was AWESOME!!! Serioulsy....it is the most surprizing rollercoaster I've ever been on. The very first thing is does when you go over the first hill is knock the **** out of you, and then it continues to do so for the next 2 minutes. When I got off I was like "wow, I did not expect that!" it is without a question , the most physical roller coaster I'ver ever riddin. You must ride it to understand what I am talking about. ITs BADaz!!!!

Yeah, I saw the Maverick computer sim. when it was being built and it looked really cool for what it does.....
Just hope it doesn't break down like the Top Thrill
Did you go on that?
I was there last year, and admit, I was too hung over and chicken to go on that thing...

the computer sim....as unbelievablly high quality as it is...does not give you any idea how much you will thrashed when you ride it. I sat in the back row of the train, so I probably go the worst of it, but the train is only three cars long, so it cant be much different than the front. If you are hungover when you ride it....you wont be when you get off...it will sober you up fast!
Here is something to think about. The ride is supposed to simulate riding a "Buckin Bronco".... it does...
I got to ride the Millenium, top thrill, mean streak, Gemini, and magnum before the rain set in....and after the mavrick it rained the rest of the night...

Top thrill ALWAYS breaks down...
Isn't Maverick stadium seating on the cars? so that even in the back you can see over peoples heads and see whats about to rock your nuts off ?

The one time I was able to go to Cedar Point was a blast and a half. Me and two friends went on vacation there and loved it all. Well except for one ride, that really big wood one just messed us up. But getting front seat on Millenium Force was awesome and Top Thrill had just opened that year and ran well enough for us to get a ride or two. It really does take more than one day to get all the rides in, but I wasn't complaining.

yeah...the big wooden one in the back is Mean Streak....I lovingly refer to it as "The Jackhammer"...It is really bumby and may give you a mild concussion. The further back in the train you sit, the rougher it is. Plus....it is really long and keeps circling around itself. Its pretty easy to get sick on it. I think they need to tear it down and build a 600 foot tall Millenium Force scale replica....

I hate wooden coasters! There's this one wooden one near me, and the first time I ever went on it I almost puked because I sat in the back! Horrible ride! I prefer the faster steel coasters!

From my experience on rollercoasters, the back is the smoothest and in my opinion the most exciting. The difference in g's and speed is pretty substantial. I went to Busch Gardens recently and rode in the back of Gwazi for 4 times. Then my friends insisted we ride the front so I did and it was way way rougher. It ended up messing up my neck and giving me a quaker of a headache and I was out for the rest of the day.

yeah...the g's in the back are insane because the entire train is pulling you down hills and such. The excelleration is greatly exaderated than in the font. Try riding Millenium Force in the back row....YeesH! talk about G's! In My experiance, these new Steel Coasters dont seem to have a difference in smoothness in seating posistion. If the ride is smooth, it will feel that way and vice versa. Its the old design steel/inverted/stand up ones that can bang you around.
