Crazy Gas Prices
#182
I've heard it was under $2 in the valley. We're still hovering in the $2.20's. It's amazing how the old supply and demand thing works out. Seems like someone took away a major campaign issue with the drill here drill now crowd left out in the cold.

Weird how things work. On Friday, as I was headed w/ the marching band for San Antonio for Area comp., I saw in a Three Rivers Valero, gas was $2.75 and there was a Valero refinery right across the street.

It's not a normal thing for Gas purchases, but most all of the Diesel prices you see displayed on the billboards is a "Cash Only" price. Once you get to the pump and swipe your card the amount per gallon will change. What's scary to think about is how much tractor/trailer drivers carry in cash to fill up their rigs.

Thanks for the idea kidding when you buy gas here you collect points and you can trade some in for a discount card that knocks it down 5 cents and another 2 cents if payed with the master card while still getting points we dropped another penny oooh so now @1.119 pr litre - so I get for 1.049 for regular 87%

Almost... *almost*... under $2 for regular here...
How crazy is that... we were almost at $4 here... never quite got there... but in 5 months? Sheesh... this is amazing, if a little bit depressing, if you'll pardon the unintended, but now quite obvious, pun.

Wait hold on, You're complaining about the low gas prices? A couple of days ago people were complaining how high gas prices were, and now that they're low, its because the economy sucks (totally agree in that though). However, I believe its not overproduction, its the price of the oil barrel thats dropping. Take advantage of this and enjoy your Mustangs

It's true, it's not overproduction, but I heard they were actually going to shut down/retool some refining capacity, and not for the usual winter mix reasons. I wish they'd get some diesel production going because that would really help everyone too.

It just goes to show you how much of that $4 a gallon "ZOMG you guys need to shut up and take it like a man because gas will never come down" was inflated pricing. Where's the shortage now?
