Oh and have you all heard about the shows in Europe? They are playing with Motley Crue in Dublin. Rumor is that Slash will be playing with GNR for Rock In Rio: Lisboa. Can you imagine the insanity??? I get chills thinking of that.

Imagine this! The lights are low on the stage, its late at night. A long haried man comes on stage, tophat on. He gets that Slash straddle position and starts the opening chords to Jungle. Then the famous Axl scream "You know where you are Lisboa? You're in the Jungle baby! Tiiiiime to diiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiie" . . . and BAM the lights come on and its Slash up there with Axl hanging off his shoulder!

The crowd will go nuts if that happens! It'll be a riot for all the right reasons!

 

I still keep GNR in heavy rotation in my CD player. Axl is Axl- no matter who plays the instruments for him.

I will absolutely buy the CD if it ever comes out.

In grade school, I liked GNR. Grade school! It's not the same band. He is trying to relive his old bands popularity by using the same name. That's all. You won't find me buying anything from this ingrate.

If I come off as an hiney, I'm sorry. I am an hiney when it comes to music. I have very strong feelings about the music world and the companies that run it.

 

I HIGHLY doubt that Axl and Slash will share a stage together anytime soon. There is just too much bad blood there.

 

Rolling Stone Interview

I think Axl and slash will share a stage again on the 12th(of never)
Slash has moved on to Velvet Revolver and he took Duff with him.

BUT...........its not like Axl lost his voice or anything.

 

Actually in recent interviews with both Axl and Slash they have said very good things about each other. Even went so far as to say they love one another. [img]style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/thumb.gif[/img]
