I've been thinking about trying it. The reviews seem to say its pretty accurate and a great deal at $13. The other cheaper apps are "test track" and "g-tac" for less than $5.

I have it. Haven't gotten to use it at the track yet, but I can definitely say the speed is accurate. I've gotta come up with some kind of mount before the next time I go to the track. I know which mount I want. It puts it right between the vents, but it's like $80! grrrrr Might just have to get one of those cheap cupholder ones for now.

There's a thread on here about the Kensington Charger for the iPhone , it maybe the one you're talking about , and a link to Amazon. I ordered one and it was $44.99 plus $10.98 S&H , I got 2 day delivery so it would arrive by to day or it would have been cheaper ...

Some discussion about it in this other post.

I have been debating about paying for this.

The Pro Clip is the one I want. It's a lot more secure than that. I'm afraid on a hard launch, a charger clip may not be secure enough.

If any of you have ever used a GTech or GTech Pro it seems to be just as accurate as it was. Speed is right, and the testing I've done has seemed pretty accurate. I haven't gone anywhere to test the SkidPad portion of the app though.

I'm going to the track tonight but didn't get a change to pick up any kind of mount. So, I don't think I'll be able to get any accurate readings.

Yup works pretty good takes a few starts to know when to go as it has to calibrate first, I have it on Both i-touch's and the i-phone too.

I wonder if that suction cup would stick to the dash, between the vents? That'd work fine for my needs if it could. I don't want it on the window.

That's another mount that is for the vent. Not sure if it can be turned Landscape or not.

Now, I've never ordered from that store before, but you can see that there are some out there.

Thanks, but I don't want it to clip to the vent itself. That's not secure enough when you're launching at over 5000RPMs. I want it to mount between the vents. Thanks though.
