Anyone Got an Extra Verizon Cell Phone????

Hey Guys....I had my phone poop out, (recieves calls, but the buttons stopped working: Hence...can't answer the call.) and I am not yet available for a discounted phone, unless I sign up for another two year agreement....Which I dont want to do because my two lines were started on different dates, so the contracts on them run out on different dates. SO...I'm waiting for both lines to run out so that I can restart them at the same time... SO....I need a phone to last me untill my first plan runs out....and I can't afford to pay full retail price......anybody got one?

Why don't you just go get it serviced? It would probably be a lot cheaper than the new phone. You would just be without phone for a while.

I'll check w/ my wife... not sure who the provider is on her old phone. Don't you love how the phones can Take Picutres, Play Video, have built in MP3 Players, GPS, Navigation Systems, Internet Capabilities... etc, etc.. But can't go down the interstate without dropping my phone call and can't last through a contract period? Cell phones suck. Good luck though. I'll let you know if I'm able to come up w/ one.

Thanks a lot....yeah...I dont care about all those features....I just care if it makes a phone call.....They won't service it because they claim it has water damage....Even though the "moisture indicator" behind the battery is clearly mint in condition. Its just old and the guys at the tech counter said they "couldnt risk plugging it into their equipment with possible liquid damage." You know how the cell companies are.....its a crock

I have my 2 old Verizon phones. They are Kyocera KX-414, they work great. Will they work for you? If so, i'll give one to you (or both if you want) if you just pay for actual shipping costs. PM me if interested.

Glad you're taken care of. I hate cell phone companies. I sent my old Verizon phone back in an envelope w/ about 200 pieces after I took a hammer to it.

BTW - my wife's cell phone was a T-mobile phone w/ pink Louis Vatton covers. I'm thinking you'll be better off with Jason's.
