Huh? The C5 Corvette came out in 1997, do you mean the C6 Corvette which was released in 2005? Chevy has kept things fresh with some updates since then, better interiors, more power for the base 'Vette, new models, etc. The 2010 Mustang consists of a moderate refresh, not an entire new car. Last rumors I've heard have the C7 Corvette pushed back to 2013 or 2014 IIRC, about a year ahead of the next all new Mustang.

The wife said she will buy me a new C6 when I get the house paid for, which will hopefully be 2012 or 2013. Should be a few more tweaks and minor changes by then, or maybe I'll hold out for a C7 if it is a major improvement.

I think I read somewhere that C7 won't be here until 2015 or so.

So the spy photos of the Transformers 2 movie a few months ago were just a concept car of course. But were they a glimpse of the car like we got a glimpse of the Camaro in the first Transformers, or just who knows what? 2013, 2014, 2015 is a long way away to put a car in a movie. If it is the car it'll be an even older design than the Camaro when it goes on sale.

The 'Vette in T2 has nothing really to do with anything we'll see on the road, it's basically just a pure concept that happens to have the Corvette name.

Thanks. I got excited because it had the split window in the design and looked like a shoe-in for a new stingray.

T2 is Terminator 2. Ask Google.

TF2 is Team Fortress 2, in case you wanted to try that. Ask Google.

Therefore, you must spell it out until an appropriate substitute can be made. Transformers 2.

Perhaps TFs2. That at least would be different.

Oh, and for the record:
Good grief, that silver thing is hideous.

On hold. 'Course, GM will be dead before the C7 ever arrives... At least, the GM we know now.
