Thinking about a PT Cruiser Convertible...
#1
First off, I am a relativly "sane" 30 something dad, who loves cars. I can't believe I am even thinking this, but after saving for an 05' Stang for a while, I think I may have eyes for another....
The Chrysler dealership near my house is selling an 05' Pt Convertible for <gulp> $16,499...BRAND NEW ...The sticker is 19,999. Guys this is a hot looking car with the top up, and even hotter with it down...
I was leaning towards a V6 stang with a 5sp, so the BEST I could hope to do was around $21,000 <if I can even find one> Were talking a $4500 savings and I still get a sweeeeet ride...
Mannnnnnn I don't know what to do .....The wife says PT, my 16 year old son of course says 'Stang...
Ok you 30 somethings...whats cooler ...a PT convertible (and $4500 cash)
or
A 2005 V-6 stang coupe?
HELP ! :bang:

I think it's your money and you should buy whatever suits your needs and desires the best. However, if it were me, I'd by the Stang (not a big fan of that dolled-up Neon)!

Of course it is your decision, but if I had to choose I would go with the V6 hands down, no ifs, ands, or buts.
The PT cruiser is nowhere near the coolness of the new stang imo.

is it worth the drive from...wherever it is you live..
personally, i think the of V6 is waaay coooler than a PT cruiser. have you sat in one! most uncomfortable thing i've been in in my life!. its worse than my uncles Toyota Sienna! please, take the mustang. your back, your son, and you brain will thank you

I dont even know why you are thinking about the two. You should go out and get the Mustang. Go out and test drive the two and see what you like better even though Im sure you will like the stang but hey... everyone has their own taste. But if I were you I would already have the stang in the driveway.
