I don't like to polished aluminum, it show off every little imperfection.
And it looks like the Hot Wheel I never played with.

The interior is too Star Trek for me.

I like the overall shape though, and the paint job with the stripes.
It has real potential.

:notnice:

I saw somewhere that the GR1 was going to be priced in the $130,000 dollar range. Isn't it a bad idea to have 2 cars in that price range? Shouldn't they have a car in the $60,000 - $70,000 range to compete with the Corvette? Maybe that way all the Corvette people will stop trying to compare the Mustang to the Corvette if you know what I mean.

The GR-1 is going to replace the GT, I think that the GT will fail 2007 safety specs, something like that anyway.

not true.....Ford hasn't decided between the Cobra Concept and the GR-1 as to which will replace the GT.

the impression i've got from everything i've read is that Ford has all but ditched the Cobra roadster for the GR-1. Maybe i heard at one point that they were gonna give the roadster another shot, but that could've been a while ago and it could have been referring to the GR-1 which is sort of a very extensive reworking of it.

Up till recently, we've all seemed to think of the GR-1 as a Z06/viper fighter, but now its looking like a Shelby Mustang will take on that task. Possibly anyways. So where would that put the GR-1? Competing against front engine exotics priced 2 to 3 times higher? Cool!
