The top of the line model is V8 powered. About 18000 were built in a 3 year life cycle.

The parent company is British, and this car was intended to eventually be sold in England, but it never occurred. Note the steering wheel location for a hint as to where it was sold.

I never hate you for getting it. Others have had a day to try and get...go for it. It is an interesting history of that model.

I was actually reading about auto industry in Australia few days ago.
As soon as you said British car in Australia I knew it was a British Leyland, because no other British company sold cars there.

I would think most people would think of automobile production from this country. About 200 of this model were made.
