My experience at the Texas Mile in Goliad, TX

It was definitely a fun time. A lot of amazing cars and bikes, but way too much sun. Some shots were over exposed, next shot way underexposed. Walking around with so many shiny car wrecks havoc on the light metering apparently. Was out there with my bro and a few friends. Gotta do it again, with more sunblock and a BBQ pit, lol. Here are just some of the pics I took, and a link at the end to the rest. Only put up about 220 or so from the 1000 I shot. Just another reason TX > all. lol j/k

Thanks for looking. Enjoy.

Wow! The Big Red Camaro!! What a beast, I remember that car from the 80's. Very cool to see it again.

Very cool story about an awesome machine for those who didn't read Hot Rod magazine back then...http://www.hotrod.com/featuredvehicl...aro/index.html

Cool! Thanks for posting. Were you in attendance when the Corvette crashed?

And I too love/remember the Big Red Camaro. It graced a cool R&T Top Speed magazine cover some years ago!

If I read correctly the driver of that vette is a local tuner around here. I've seen several videos of the crash, he is lucky to have jumped out and walked away from the 220+ mph crash.
