Ive got a family friend with....extreme amount of $$$ who collects cars. He has 'VIP passes' to the auction area. Guess who just got them? im not sure exactly about the passes, but my mom said they were pretty dam cool for us common folks. I hope they get me back by the auctioneer... anywho, im not sure of the extent of freedom the passes grant, so idk where ill be sitting or whatever.

So im bringing my sisters super-HD camera and going trigger happy. Will make sure to make a new thread with everything in it on here, stay tuned and subscribe!

Do u know if any1 special will be there? These passes might get me near the auctioneer or whatever, and im dreaming Mr.Shelby himself or Iacocca is there. Any1 know the appearances that will b happening? Any1 else here going?

Oh and ill be wearing a Blue mustang hat (pics of it later) if u do go.

Enjoy the experience. I was at the Vegas auction last Sept with a couple buddies.
We didn't have special passes but sat right behind the skybox. It's quite an experience to watch the actual bidders and be able to wander through the cars as they are waiting to go through the actula bidding. You will have a good time. We are thinking of going to AZ next January for the big one, hopefully...

 

My 16th birthday present from my parents was a trip down there. It was absolutely amazing! They have a shelby booth out with the SS, terlingua, and the CS8. Also had a section where you could test drive cars from Ford and GM. They also had 3 Z06s that all ended up breaking because they ran them so hard. Ford had 2 shelbys but weren't much fun because they could only drive them once every 2 hours. Fortunately for me I got to ride in both.
