Theres a murmur now that the 1.8 VVTi 4 cyl and other engines with mid-level mileage are using excessive oil with ring problems along with some Lexus products at much lower mileage, and Toyota is well aware of it. Soon coming to a media outlet near you....

That makes for the trifecta, problems with the 4's 6's and 8's plus trannys....

Good thing Ford doesn't have nearly the reliability problems of Toyotas.
