You guys really need to drive one if you havent. They have a smooth ride like a CV, but slightly better handling. I'd say on par with a police interceptor CV. The 4v is very similar to a mach1, but i think it has the cam profiles from the lincoln aviator, to give it a bit more low end trq. it gets up to speed rather well and runs 90+ cruise speeds with ease.

I watched a maruader with a KB on it at the track run consistent low 12's on street tires, kicking sideways each run when it shifted into 2nd. The tranny is a 4r70w like in 99-04GT's, so it can be tuned to get alot more performance out of it.
They definetley have a ton of potential!!!

Hey Scott, you forgot to share.... how many gray hairs?.....

The marauder engine is same as the Mach 1 right?
No, it's the 96-98 Cobra engine.

Hey Andy, how do you know how old I am? You been spying on me?

Its acctually quite a bit different than the 96-98 cobra motor, its 95% similar to the 4.6L 4v used in the Mach1. It has a slightly different upper intake due to the air inlet being on the drivers side vs. the passenger side on the mach. The heads are tumble port heads which are similar to the ones they switched to with the 99 cobra.

Yes, but its more acceptable for you. You have ten years on me

My spot looks like the opposite of Jay Leno kind of....
If it makes you feel any better, I'm younger than you (I'm 21) and I'm already losing my hair (a lot).

I've driven a Maurader and I liked it a lot, but I really don't have any need for 4 doors even though my current ride has them. I've never opened the doors to the back seat yet.

Yeah, I'm old, but only my mustache is gray!

Whoa!!

Then again not having hair has its advantages.... no combing, no cowlicks, no gray.

Baldness runs in my family (both sides) so its only a matter of time.

Funny thing is, nobody in my family was ever bald. My grandfather died in 2003 at age 78 and he wasn't bald.

I guess its time to shave my head.

I used to shave my head for firefighting. Made getting the SCBA gear on a bit easier. I would shave my head now too but my job doesn't allow it  Can't even grow a goshdarned goatee like I used to have :bang:

I agree, They're very large, providing lots of space

I've always like the Marauder's but they're becoming more and attractive to me.

Here's a nice one. Not a bad price either for the mileage.

I like the marauder's also, I just wish Ford would of put the Navigator motor in it and set aside the Lightning motor as an option, then it would be insane!
