let me start my saying i had to drive to ill. to pick it up....
i could not get a rent a car, so i had to rent a uhaul truck to drive up there.... thats a story in it's self.....
anyway the car is amazing... in every way.....
i really don't know where to start....
the steering wheel is smaller and thicker... it's perfect.
the suspension is amaizing... hit a bump it is like a caddy, take a curve it's like a vette.
the notes out the pipes are like flows or dynomax.... unreal!!!!
the shifter is very close to my old pro 5.0
the seats are not recaro's but they are nice just the same.
i thought i was happy just wait till you get yours and everyone that drives a chevy, dodge, or ford gives you a thumbs up!!!!

Congrats, man! My Satin Silver w/Light Graphite will be in next week. I'll be going to Missouri (from TX) to pick it up. I'd like your opinion... I think I would like to get white stripes. Seeing the 05 Satin Silver in person and up close, do you think it will look good? I've included a photochop below to show the contrast. Forgive me for the sorry stripe work.

You preordered right?

What was your status just before the car arrived, did you receive an ETA? And if so how accurate was it compared to the actual arrival date?

I hope to find this information out to give me some idea how much longer I have to wait, as my ETA has passed. Im sure others who pre-ordered also would like to know.

 

Now that they are falling in the hands of our members we are going to have to have a post soon asking "How many miles do you have?"

 

You are one lucky dog and a very nice car...Enjoying the pics but not nearly as much as your enjoying the car.... Anything look cheap in the interior like some people have stated? How about the speaker covers on the door...Pictures make them look massive? Anyway, enjoy...

I'm not doing stripes but if I did on Silver it would be a shde of light grey... just darker than my car....

Robert, my status was in transit the week before it arived, before than my dealer said it had been produced, and was waiting to be shiped, now from the in transist time my dealer told me it would be in the next week.... it was.

Bill, just over 500.... and I get my real plate this week.

 

The interior looks great, much better in person, and years ahead of sn95 and early fox.
My only complaint is the headreasts..... they are terrible.... if you move your head back 1/4 of an inch your touching the seat headrest....

the speaker covers do look a bit out of place... but you won't notice them much...
