Dont understand the spare tire. Seems pretty dangerous to pull over and change a flat while everyone is racing by :-)

Well obviously the tire cone out. We just put it in the car for transport purposes. We drilled a new hole in the roll cage for the shoulder harness cause it wasn't allowing for much adjustment, but it's all good.

The biggest challenge really is getting the seat comfortable for me. I'm 5'7, 165 lbs and the guy who owned in was over 300 lbs... The seat is huge. Gonna try and boost me up a little and get some foam in there so I get get in a better seating position and feel like the seat supports me.

 

You may want to get another seat, as being comfortable & safely seating will make you faster. By your size you sound like a 14" seat, check out ebay or racing junk for a good used one. I did both paved & dirt with an Omni & it was a blast, have fun!
