If I had to buy a car in that price range with four doors, I'd get the Focus ST and save some cash.
That is a completely different kind of vehicle, nobody would cross shop a charger with a focus. Keep in mind a standard charger r/t is in the low 30s

I agree, the new charger is pretty mean but I hate the taillights, if I was in the market for a 30k sedan I would not for for that. I'd honestly get a 2013 civic Si sedan, little umph under the hood, manual, great MPG. This would be a DD and not my only car of course. If I had to only choose one car then of course my stang lol

Wow for me the taillights are one of my favorite styling cues. As far as the civic is concerned it's not the same type of vehicle and would never be cross shopped.

The lights are too much, theyre too flashy and I usually like flashy.

Theyre both performance sedans just like comparing a v6 mustang vs a scion fr-s. American vs poop japanese.

Theyre competitors.

They are both sporty in their own way but quite a few differences

Full size vs compact

RWD vs FWD

V8 vs I4

I also feel the Charger is more luxurious, the Civic is a good car but more economy minded. If you were to compare a Honda to a Charger I'd go with a V6 Accord and even then still way too different IMO

My 09 rt has a spartan interior. One do the things I liked about it. Really feels old school inside. Tech wise they have all the gadgets.
I love my big pig sled! 11 second daily driver. And I can take my wife and three adult kids to dinner and a movie!

Trust me guys the 2011-up models are a significant improvement especially in interior quality over the 2006-10 cars.it is an even bigger improvement than what Ford did between the 2009 to 2010 Mustangs. I think The only gripe I have with the new car is the poor gas mileage on the V8 model. I think was they put the 8 speed from the V6 into the 8 it should be respectable.

I think for this type of vehicle you can't beat it for the price, even the SHO is significantly more expensive in base trim than the R/T

I don't really care much for the new body style. I wish the indents on the side were parallel with the body lines. I don't think the sides flow well at all.
