i think most people take clarkson too serious, he knows that the british automotive industry sucks, but having pride in his country, he sort of jokingly says it's the best. alot of americans do the same thing, even though we're not the best with everything, yes he stereotypes us, but we stereotype them. clarkson says alot of cars are bad, he said what he did about the sebring to emphasize how bad he thinks it is, not necessarily that it is absolutely 100% the worst car

personally i find him hilarious, because i dont take it so seriously, TG is more of an entertainment show than a pure car information show, like it started out as. That's why the new show is one of the worlds most popular show

 

Did I miss something? The original Top Gear lasted for 24 years (1977-2001).

Maybe not THE worst, but certainly up on the same stage and holding the flowers for the winner while it gets crowned.
