From that third pic, I think it looks a little better.

What's that red thing in the console next to the drivers seat? An eject button?

I absolutely hate what they did to the steering wheel. Its that same stupid four spoke company wheel. Can you imagine if Ford put this steering wheel (which is in most every ford/lincoln/mercury) in the Mustang? It would ruin the car.

The red thing you're looking at, is it next to the cup holder? Looks like a couple wires coming out of the console across a smaller hole (cell phone holder?) to me.

I see 3 wires, red, white with black stripe, and gray or green.

edit: Or are you looking at the red/orange thing to the left of the gauges, in the pic from outside? I think that's just a reflection on the window.

Hes referring to the red button behind the shifter in the pic looking in from outside.

LOL I didn't scroll my window to the right, so I totally missed that one.

I'm sure that's some testing emergency cutoff or something, there is other test equipment on the floor of the passenger side.

Would you rather have painfully dull(Challenger) or kinda weird(Camaro)??
I kinda like the Camaro's oddball layout and goofy gauge placement, but after the newness wore off,i think i would start to hate it. The Challenger's plainjane corporate dash would seem to age better just because of it's simpleness, the exterior more than makes up for the dash. The steering wheel sucks though. Do the SRT-8 Chargers come with different steering wheels? Maybe there is hope for the SRT-8 Challenger.
Oh,and that pistol-grip shifter is hardly that,i'd call it just a plain ole shifter handle. I hope the automatic Camaros have that old 1st gen luggage handle shifter, those were cool.

Couldn't be said any better. 4-spoke wheel that looks like it's out of a minivan?

See, I think the opposite would be true. The Camaro's interior shows that some serious attempt at being unique went into its design; as opposed to just grabbing Cavalier bits and pieces from the parts bin.

I think the Camaro interior is way nicer than the Challenger interior - and far more in keeping with the car's '60s homage.

The steering wheel is horrible! Everything else is just ok, but the exterior makes up for it!

The steering wheel looks just like the 300 I had for a rental and also the same as the Charger. Cheap plastic. The center section all the way down to the shifter look like the Mustangs layout to me. They probably just ordered it from the same manufacturer and changed a few things. Removed the round vents added these rectangular ones.
I am real disappointed with the whole thing. I knew the Concept Cars were too good to be true! Exterior looks good though.
Lets see what Chevrolet can do with the Camaro interior. I hope Ford really does the interior up good in the 2010 or even 2012 Mustang.
Detroit is getting beat pretty badly on their interiors by the foreign guys.

I think its fine, most of the show car interior looked like slabs of plastic. The gauges were all wacky too. I kinda like the Charger interior layout.
