Neither the 263 CTS or 252 HP Malibu are the same V6 that Peper already said is going into the Camaro. Even the Acadia's which I erronously spoke about is not the DI V6 which is the one Peper referred to. Peper even specifically states 300+ HP. I dunno what Lutz is talking about which honestly sometimes I don't think he does. I listen to Peper before Lutz anydaybut Settlemeyer over both.

All this talk of hyper priced Camaros honestly to me seems like wishful thinking or "Kool-aid" following. A G8 is priced 27 for the V6 and 30ish for the V8 which I'm sure cost wise is the same or more than the Camaro and the GXP guessing to be mid 30's (easily in 4th Gen SS terriroty). Then the G8 Ute/ST/El Camino price is said to be 31K for the V8 so where do all these ludicrously priced speculations come from given all 3 vehicles are "Premiumly Priced" and will roll out of the same Factory. Personally given Pontiacs panache class over the "working man's" pseudo personality of the family, I myself will venture my opinion that the Poncho's will be priced over the Camaro. Base V6 in the 26 range, base V8 (L76) in the high 20 low 30 and anywhere from mid 30 (LS3) to possibly mid 40 (LSA supercharged). At this point it is all still speculation as engine choices are not finalized yet. But don't get your hopes up thinking the Camaro will be way out of the Mustang range because I doubt highly that it will be.

Yes. right now it's all speculation.

I agee about Lutz.

People who know him say he's a great guy and real car guy. He probably is, but he sometimes just gives the impression he's full of hot air.

It works, I've done something similar in my GT when I had to stretch fuel, by emulating the skipshift and a few other things I can increase my same commute mileage by 8 mpg.
