Pick any 3 body parts (that I have 2 of) and I'll sell them to get one of these fine beauties!

That is sex on wheels.

I've always like "rear" views, but this car makes me want Bush to legalize human-machine marriages

NASTY!

What were they thinking when they made that trunk?

That "M6" badge looks like a bumper sticker with how they put it there.

The plastic engine cover make the engine about as as a Honda Civic's engine. LAME!

The REAL M6 from the 80s had a manual transmission!

That interior has got to be the CHEAPEST-looking $100,000+ interior I've EVER seen. Check out the plastic hood release.

The new 6 series has LESS rear room than the M3! The sunroof only tilts!

It is still a nearly two-ton pig with two-piston caliper brakes! LOL! Didn't the $35,000 SVT Cobra have four-piston caliper Brembos?

What is up with the hood? In the middle it is flat and towards to sides all of these pointless angles go all over the place.

I'd much rather have a C6 Z06 or a new 911 than that ugly BMW...and that's coming from a huge BMW fan.

the way they were...

There's finally a Bimmer of the new body style that I like.
It's not perfect, but the best I've seen in a while.
And with a V-10...WOW!

It's just OK. I the styling is just so "blah." For the money, I'd much rather drive a Aston Martin AMV8, even though I'd be slower.

i've loved this car since i first saw it, a black one on my street with those cool wheels that look like they were solid disks that had about 8 holes punched in 'em. I'd prefer it in black, but the M6 looks awesome, in my opinion.

Rick, as far as the two piston brakes go... I think BMW's philosophy was that the limiting factor in stopping the car is traction, they could lock up the wheels no problem with two pistons. Once you have enough brake power to lock the wheels, the only thing that affects your stopping distance is how well the tires grip.
Of course if we're talking heat dissipation, then i don't really no. I would think having more pads would spread heat out across them more. Anyways, we'll certainly see how these brakes work out in the next month or two when the magazines come out.
We all know that you can't judge a car just because of some supposedly antiquated specs. Look at what ford did with the live axle, every magazine is admitting that they were wrong in presuming the handling in the car would not be up to snuff.

This car doesnt have a sunroof, The roof is made out of Carbon Fibver to reduce weight and lower cebnter of gravity.

This car also used a 7 speed SMGIII Transmission, First and second are layed out in the strongest parts of the Tranny case, A human hand could not shift in any respectable amount of time.

And that "Lame plastic engien cover" is part of the intake, it feeds air into the 10 Individual Throttle bodies :worship:

That being said, It's not aggressive enough for my tastes, However Give me one in Dark grey with a birch interior and an ACS kit and I'm sold.

Older BMW M cars used to have gorgeous engines....

The carbon fiber roof only saves ten pounds! It is a luxury GT car, not a sports car!

According to germancarfans.com, the new M6 has single piston caliper brakes! What a joke!

Here is a video of the upcoming V-8-powered Aston Martin

Maybe Single Piston in the back,

Essentially the M6 has all of teh M5's parts, Including it's 2 piston calipers.

Which will by the way, outbrake the vaunted AMG calipers found on the E55, not to mention less unsprung weight.

Thats the V10 withought its covers, Those big covers are what allow you to supply air to all 10 throttle bodies without using a mass of ugly black piping.

The 6-series cars are stunning in person, but I still don't like the humpback trunk design.

A non-USA 735i. I like that car a lot more than the new BMW 7 series. The new one is N A S T Y.
