The mustang design was pretty much done before the release of the camaro concept, and when it came out ford said that it looked so close to the mustang that they had made they had to chnage it so people didn't think they were copying chevy, so there are prob still some parts that will looks similar, but i can assure you it has nothing to do with Ford copying Chevy.
