Another Enzo Ferrari totalled!!
I'm not sure if some of you heard, but another Enzo, and a quasi-famous one at that, was totalled 6 weeks ago in Utah. If any on here read Road & Track, I'm sure you've read some articles written by a Richard Losee. He owns (now owned) an Enzo, and was contributing periodical stories forthe magazine on how the car was.
His plate read "MMENZO" which the MM stands for "many miles". At the time of the last aricle, a few months ago, he wrote a story about how he got his car to do 218 on a US highway. The mileage on it then was close to 30,000 I believe. This guy wanted to put on as many miles a possible. This is too cool in my book, as most who own this car never drive it anywhere near this much.
Well, I just read about the crash. It seems Utah has a charity event called the Utah Free Pass Road Rally, where owners of exotic and generally fast cars can pay a fee, and drive the as fast as they want, without any consiquences to them. Its a 15-mile stretch on Hw 257. Anyhow, reports are that Richard was driving his car close to 200 mph, when he hit a dip in the road, and the car became airborne, AND rolled 7 times. He's alive, but rather banged up, with multiple broken bones. Click on the link below, to see the small report on a car website.

This guy has been very kind to many people who have asked to ride in the car, and has given many charity rides for sick children who's wish is to go for a spin. I wish him the speediest of recoveries, and hope he's able to find another car. Get well Richard, this story should make for one great read in a future issue of Road & Track.

I hope he gets well soon
Unfortunate that he crashed it. Still, gotta give him credit for driving it like it was meant to be driven and in a sanctioned event (not in traffic) unlike most of the morons whose cars end up on that wrecked exotics site. I bet he put more miles on that car than all the surviving examples ever will combined.

You're right though. Where I went wrong was that I said MMENZO in Spanish, instead of in English. If you were to say mmenzo in a spanish "accent" it would come out the same way "menso" would. The Z in spanish is pronounced like an S.
Well, in "Mexican" spanish at least.
In "Spain" spanish, the Z sounds like an "s" and a "d" combined.

Last I heard the driver is recovering well, and should be in full health relatively soon!
I hope he tries another project "Many Miles" very soon. I am interested to see just how many miles some of these cars can actually amount to.
