An Altrenative to Jack Stands

Any info on these, looking at the Wheel Cribs 8 to 10 inch ones instead of using jack stands.

Since I don't have a lift, jackstands have given me a little more versatility. With those wheel cribs you can't do brake work or rotate your tires. Plus with either jackstands or wheel cribs, you are still jacking up the car in the first place so having wheel cribs doesn't really save you any work... unless you are concerned about the stability of your car up on stands. I use ramps when I can and jackstands when i have to.

I don't have them personally, but I've only heard good things about them.

They're good if you don't want ramps, and you need all the room you can get under your car. But as mentioned, they're for working under your car, not for brake jobs and things like that. (which I would think would be pretty obvious).

As said before, no brake work. And I don't know if it's just me but it seems ridiculously expensive for what you get

Not sure about the cribs but after looking at the site, I definitely need a set of those 2 pc ramps.
