Advice on what should be my next daily driver!
GT500 - drives great with all season tires and the traction control left on in the winter! Well at least as far as winters count in south east Va while driving on summer tires
On a side note, did a 140 mile round trip today mostly on the highway and pulled down an impressive (to me) over 25 mpg
Anyways, given that you've listed a few coupes on your list, I'd give any 05-12 S-197 a look, especially if you get the bug to mod and like wrenching on your car. Fairly easy to work on, its a straight forward and pretty rugged design for DD duty (I've never had to get an alignment), great on trips (did an 18 hour stint in the GT500 from Newport News, VA to Columbus, OH - essentially non-stop if you dont count gas and food stops and the 15 minutes or so I spent waiting for my brother to load his stuff up in Columbus) and that was on top of a short 6 hour stint at work.

I understand what you mean. No car company is perfect, each brand has it's strengths and weaknesses. I like the little jab you took at Mitsubishi, my friend's 06 evo was probably the most unreliable modern car I have ever seen. Funny thing is I had a 91 3000gt back in the day and it had over 200k on it and ran strong until it got totalled by a teenage driver on her phone lol
By the time I'm done this thread may be 3 years old. I'm also looking forward to the updated 2013 altima and accord coupes. I like the direction of the new altima sedan but they haven't done the coupe yet. As for the Honda, the concept and spy shots of the new accord are similar to the current Gen car but supposedly better updated engines. I'm wondering if Honda can pull off 300 HP with the new v6? Ford, Chevy and Nissan have had 300 HP v6s for years now so I think it's a realistic possibility.
Just drove a loaded 2011 V6 premium for $19000 what a fun car for the money, wish I lived in a warm weather state... The other car I drove is a 2010 Infinity G37X.... still very fun, more high end and all year capability. The mustang is significantly cheaper but the Infinity has AWD for the Winter months. I was surprised by how well the "base" Mustang matches us against a high end luxury coupe.
