2015-2016 Mustang Pony Emblem / Black
Hello everyone! I have a friend that asked me to post a question on here since she doesn't belong to the forum. She owns a 2015 black V6 mustang, and wants to blackout her mustang.
So far she has tinted the wheels, added roush exhaust, and will be purchasing black rims for it this spring. She ordered a gloss black pony emblem for the front grill, and rear trunk lid, but apparently they are on back order and won't be available for a few more months. Instead of waiting, she wants to paint/coat the emblems herself, but she is not sure what the best practice is for doing this.
Does anyone have any suggestions? She would prefer gloss black instead of matte black. Is there a special spray that she can purchase that is durable and won't fade or chip over time? Any tips are appreciated. I'll let her know what you guys think.
Thanks!!
