I did a Build & Price today and I noticed how Ford gave us a hidden $225 increase. The Interior Sport Package (Leather wrapped steering wheel and shift ****, I think ?) used to be included when you took the IUP or was it the Leather seats?

Anyway, it is now a seperate $225 cost. The Leather nor has the IUP decreased. :bang:

I'm waiting for end of Feb/beginning March to place an order. Can't wait until Ford clears the shortage of the IUP. I'm not settling for that lite-IUP.

The Interior Sport Package is a separate option package consisting of the steering wheel and shifter upgrades. It has become know as IUP-lite
It is not an increase. Those items are not standard or included with leather trim and the ISP would only be ordered if IUP was not ordered or available.
The IUP shortage is not going to clear up for the remainder of the model year. Availability of IUP will be limited to 30% to 40% of production. The order rate is over 80% so the problem will just get worse.
The sooner you order, the sooner you will get an IUP Mustang. With these limitations, sold orders will outstrip the availability, leaving virtually no groundstock of IUP units for the spring market.
The ISP is better than nothing.

I dumped the IUP and went with the ISP 2 weeks ago. My dealer told me that instead of 16 weeks I was probably looking at 10. I hope he's right!

You want a convertible with IUP for February build!?
You will need some big time connections for that!
But seriously, because of the very small numbers for February allocation and an anticipated take rate of 100% on convertibles, the IUP will be available on the orders.
However, she may come quicker if she was ordered in Yellow...
(couldn't resist!)
