Window Tinting in New Jersey

So I got my windows tinted the other day. I got 35% all around. I live in Voorhees, NJ and the cops here are pretty bored so I think they will give me a problem. I think I am going to go back and get 50% on the front two windows. I attached pics of before and after

New York, too...

My daughter has tint on her Altima coupe, and it appears to attract cops...3 times this week she's been stopped and issued one ticket.
Now she has to decide to take it off and pay to have lighter tint put in, take off and leave it off or just leave it on and deal with it...if she leaves it on, she'll have to pay each time she gets a ticket!

The cops by me couldn't care less about tints. State troopers never gave me any problems either....the cops down by the Belford area, however, are bored also and have given me problems. Tints make the car look so much MORE B.A though.

It's interesting that the state inspection no longer checks for window tinting, however, every cop in the state can ticket you for it because of the way the law is written. And once you're stopped for any violation, your car is fair game !!
No front plate - ticket
Loud mufflers - ticket
Cracked / broken light lense - ticket
As most towns throughout the country are strapped for money, it's best not to get stopped for any reason !!
........................................Enjoy your window tint..

Where did you get your tint done BabyFace? Are you happy with the quality? I am in Marlton and was thinking of at least getting the back window done.

I am from central jersey jersey shore. I had my windows tinted in freehold and have been stopped 3-4 times in the past month by state and municipal police. It sucks but it completes the look.

South Jersey - had her tinted 20% all around sense spring 2008 and I've never been pulled over for it.

My GF borrowed her (pre-Whipple) and was pulled over in front of where I work.. she literally didn't make it 200' down the road... I was laughing, she didn't think it was funny.

Lucky for her I knew the cop and he didn't even write her a warning for it.. just told her what she was pulled over for. ..tint's still on the car, I still work at the same place, and she's parked right outside my window as I'm typing this..
