Pictures from a big weekly get together in Virginia Beach. If you want to attend it's on the corner of Independence and Haygood north of 264 and Virginia Beach Blvd. People start showing up around 4pm.

My guard unit will be in VA Beach Aug 20 & 21 for "water survival" training.

I had planned to visit Pete, but ended up getting sick instead.
Would have enjoyed seeing your car and meeting you in person - hopefully next time. I ordered black (of course) but screaming yellow was my second choice for sure. Beautiful Mustang!

A few more weeks and you could have had your new car for the show!
Tony, Ed - I'm in the Hampton Roads area. I live in Suffolk and work in Norfolk.
It looks like she was built yesterday! ERL reports today she has been released from the plant! ERL indicates possoble delivery September 9th, but I would think the week following that would be more realistic.
Tony, hope you are built and rolling soon. What did you order? Are you keeping your SVT? (Say yes, you are keeping it!)

The salesman said it should take a couple weeks to get here. So I am looking at the end of September. I ordered a...
GT Premium Coupe
Vista Blue
IUP
5-speed
side airbags
Yes, I will be keeping the 1995 SVT Cobra
I intend to show it in the MCA 4th Generation Class instead of the Daily Driver it has been in the past. The car has 104,000 miles on it so it is a driver and not a trailer queen
The 95 Cobra is a bit of a rare one. It has cloth seats which makes it rare. According to the SCOA website it is 1 of 110 Rio Red/Black Interior/Cloth Seats. There were only 4005 Coupes, 1005 Convertibles (of which 499 had removeable hard tops) and 250 Cobra "R"s. It is also the last of the 302's
So, yes it is a keeper to me
Tony and all, she is in the corral! My original post is now in Intros and Car Photos.

Congrats!!! banana
Hope to see you as the show.
My wife and I have the 24th marked on the calendar. Hopefully, nothing will interfere.
Of course, I don't know how clean she'll be after a road trip up I-64! I need to get some wax on her; I'm sure the dealership job was little more than a touch-up after the washdown.
