Hey Glenn , those brake pads you are looking at are for a V-6 I think and willn't fit a GT.

Well ain't that a load of crap. After waitin 3 weeks for my new tank the Company writes back and says they can't get it and refund my money. Summit has it for more and delivery will be 6-24. Oh well guess I just forget about that tank and move on.

it's like a window felt replacement, that doesnt scratch the tint on S197 model windows

The inboard weatherstrips on the 2005 and newer cars are made of a rubber that is too stiff for use with window tint unless something softer is added to it to prevent scratching. Ford didn't put any felt on the side of the weatherstrip that rides the glass, so the the stiff rubber tears up the tint.

My kit should be coming soon, hopefully it will arrive today or tomorrow, it's coming in the regular mail.

The back window on my red 05 bubbled up in the corner, I had 20% on the back 3. It did fine for about a year or so and then started coming loose. I used a different place this time, so hopefully they did it right.

I got my felt kit in the mail today, installation is done, overall not difficult if you know how to take the door panel loose to get the weatherstrip out.

I have my kit but haven't read the instructions yet. I didn't know you had to remove the door panel. Sounds like a PITA!

Looks like you are right and I was wrong. I thought I saw a thread were the calibers were different sizes and had GT stamped on the V8 one.

It's actaully quite easy on these cars to take the panel loose. I didn't even need to pull it completely off, just took all the screws out and lifted it up a bit and pulled it back a little to get the weatherstrip out. There's a torx bolt behind the door handle after removing the cover, another torx bolt behind the small cover near the armrest, screws all around the outside of the panel, and one hiding behind the window switches. Grasp the switch panel assembly and pull, the whole thing will pop right loose. Alos pull the mirror switch cover loose, it just pops off.

I tried at first to just take a few screws out up higher on the door panel like the instructions say, but couldn't get the panel to move enough. Took all the screws and bolts out, then was able to move the panel enough to gain easy access to the weatherstrip.
