that's what she said!
whats up fellas? sounds like things have been going moderately well around here lately. I've been pretty busy, went to Jersey for a few days to visit family, and then went to VA/WVA to go snowboarding/skiing for a few. now unfortunately I have to go back to work and class, booo!

I'm gonna start my car up sometime today too, it hasn't been run since November.
Edit, just went and ran the car for a little bit, car is running nicely, sounded great.

I must be a puss. I went out around noon to the garage and swept a bunch of the crap out from under where Karen car sits. Grabbed a beer out of the fridge....stood there for a few sips and looked around and went back in the house.
12 degrees is too **** cold to lay on a concrete floor. So did you get that Lentech valve body with transbrake from the Brenspeed Ebay auction?
I'm waiting for the weather to warm up a bit too, I have a rear driveshaft loop to install. I need to get the matching front one first though, and will probably get the Pypes over-axle pipes too, do everything all at the same time. I'm planning on having drag radials for this coming season, so the loops will be a good idea.
Hey all,
Stopping in for my usual month or so 'Hi'
Been down in Orlando again since the first of the year.
Sorry to hear about your neighbor Scott.
I feel real bad about missing the last blast of snow & cold you all are having
Coworker sent me a pic of my winter beater in the parking lot covered with snow; I sent him a pic back of one of our helis out on a sunny green field.
Not complety missing out too much here though, it was 24 when I went to work this morning, these folks here couldn't cope, kinda felt normal to me.
Wife told me it went down to 2 last night. Thats cold be anyones standards.
Come on spring

Parts of it I like, others not so much....
Previous ones look way better.

I like the blackout panel and the wheels, still needs a little something different done with the rear bumper in my opinion, too much black plastic down there, same with the front end, needs a little more body color on the front lip.

I haven't gotten too excited about the 2011 yet. While I love the new powerful engine it is supposed to get I also will most likely not be getting one. I am not a fan of the way the 10 looks. I still think Ford got it right with the 05 as I think most do. I buy cars for the long haul. Heck I got one Stang older than Tom and everyone else but Ben, Larry and Darrell
. Driving a 17 year old pickup that looks like it is 5 years old (81,000 miles), wife's Explorer is 11 years old and still going. I am the guy that everyone wants to buy my used cars because of the shape they are in. Besides I hope to retire in 6 yrs. so I don't want to pick up any more debt than necessay. Interesting how your priorities change as you go thru life.
Heck...we still have a 1985 Yanmar Diesel tractor we bought new when we moved in this house.

Later in the day another place called to set up an interview!
This is with Lease plan USA, what this location does is handle the repair authorization
for people that have company cars. Also assist the driver of the car for any needs.
I use to have to call them all the time when I worked at Goodyear for repairs when someone would bring
in their company car for stuff.
Pretty cake job, and in air conditioning! Just a little farther to drive up to Rolling Meadows, near Ohare. Looks like if I land that job I will be driving my winter beater more in the summer, lol.

Well after spending over 2 hours there, they called me back this week to meet with the manager Thursday.
I thought I pretty much aced that interview, but didn't want to jinx myself. Hopefully after Thursday I will be able to say I am once again employed!
I sure will miss having a heated shop to work on my car tho. And only 8 blocks to drive to work, vs 45 min drive. But hey, I'll get to keep the stang!
