Been watching some of the Detroit auto show hype on tv... seen a segment on the Chevy Volt kinda cool car .. for being powered by 2000 cell phone bateries and a squirl cage..gota change the squirl every 300 miles ...but its flex, large hampsters will work too!...

About 2 inches or so. We still have some tall piles that didn't melt when it warmed up though, so there are a few spots that still have mounds that are a few feet tall. It was a bit messy coming home the other night though, most of the roads weren't salted very well.

But at $40,000 I think that alot wil be sitting on their lots for awhile. Hell the new Fusion Hybrid is being listed at $27,000 and people are saying they won't buy it either.

you have to factor in batterylife/replacement costs down the line also. That can not be cheap

hey Glenn post some pics of the install.... Tom isn't that the shaft you had to use the 2 pound hand sledge to beat in to place? .... lol

what were you installing so that you need a breaker bar?

it has some dents in it but it balanced out fine I'm told

I installed a Spydershaft a year ago. You have to replace the pinion flange. When I installed the new flange I used a torque wrench set at 150 lbs. per the instructions. The new flange went on very hard. I stopped when it tripped the torque wrench. Unfortunately it did not seat properly. I drove it about 1/4 mile and knew it was wrong. It took a breaker bar to draw the flange down tight. That's been a big joke for the last year.

That's about the only thing I installed this last year that didn't need the bar!!!!!! Of couse I had to reverse all the plugs to make them work correctly!!
