Kinda on the same lines Scott, I keep telling the wife about all the 16 & 17yr old girlies @ the fast food drive-throughs who want me to take them for a ride.
Doesn't ruffle her feathers, she knows me well enough.

Tom,
When you gonna post those pics?
Interested in seeing how it looks.
Things still going well for you @ work?

Question for someone with more knowledge than me with either a turbo or S/C;
When you back off the throttle, do you get alot of smoke out of the exhaust?

Reason I'm asking, got called back to work tonight. On my way back home, I'm cruising through Dublin(ritzy section of Columbus)& this young kid & girlfriend in a late model Trans Am was trying every thing possible to get me to race him. I don't street race, especially never in Dublin. The police there are brutal.

He'd surge ahead of me & when he backed off, a large amount of smoke would pour out his exhaust. I'm guessing it was turbocharged, you could hear the whine. I was just suprised at the smoke. I'm guessing, but I think the motor was just run too hard & he's not going the same driving style for much longer.
If thats normal for a turbo, I sure wouldn't want that on mine.
Don't ever remember seeing that on a S/C.

Oh, & I just cruised along @ speed limit & smiled & waved @ them.
Guess I'm getting old
I did let them hear the bark pulling out @ one light.

More than likely he was supercharged, and probably running very rich due to poor tuning. It was better not to try racing him, especially if the cops are very active around there.

Back to fixing broken school buses again for me, hopefully everything will be easier than last week. The first 3 days of school were nuts.

Larry, I posted some pix in other areas but they just don't look right. It is hard to get the lighting right in the interior shots. The pix I have make my kit look very bright and stand out big time, when in reality it's not like that. Wanna know what it is? Three words........

Wood

Dash

Kit

Wow...can you say HOT!!! At 5pm it is 94 and feels like 100 according to my weather station out in the field. My sweat-o-meter thinks it agrees. Can you say July 20th not Sept 2nd. Where is all the rain. Not a drop in over 3 weeks. I have heard thunder to the north and south a couple of time but nothing here. My yard in toast!

Tom post a link to your interior please. Some of old guys don't have that much time to be searching around. That includes Larry and Darrell. :-)

As far as the dash goes, in person I like it. I used the base black non-IUP panels to adhere it to, so if I change my mind down the road I can always reinstall my factory IUP panels. Takes about 30 minutes to change them out, including the airbag panel. Really simple.
