I am fine with coming to lunch, not sure about the tour... Gotta talk to RRobello about that.
I just got off the phone with the manager at Shakeys... Good Goddess, that turned out to be a huge nightmare.
We have a reservation for 45 at 1:45 on Aug 21st. HOWEVER, it turns out that the people I talked to earlier in the week were complete morons, and not only did they not make the reservation (ACK!) but were totally wrong in saying we could get parking spots together. Apparently, the parking lot is shared between 5 businesses, and they have no control over which business gets parking spots.
So, here is the deal. The best idea would be to get someone to go over there with some cones, and as people leave, just start marking off spots. We need about 20. They would have to get there around 1ish, and pretty much fight over parking spots.
The other option is to have all the cars sprinkled all over the parking lot.
You guys decide, I am kinda annoyed at this point. I called this guy 6 times, never got a call back, his lackeys lied to me and didnt give him messages, GRR!!
If any one has any traffic control hookups, it would be sweet to get some caution tape, or NO PARKING signs!!!!

Mike, thank you again for all your help with this... I dont want to change the location a second time, since there is such a big group now. It'll just cause more confusion, I am afraid.
I am going to bail from the museum early, and go hang out at the parking lot. Just start stalking poeple, LMAO!!!! Should be fun....

ok so I managed to steal the two extra spots that SCS had managed to aquire from the museum, so CA Stang and Rebel your ride alongs are in for the tour.....anyone else can go, its just for the tour we are limited to those that are now signed up, no more can go on the tour but they can go to the museum and lunch, they would just have to tour the museum on their own I guess. So no more adds the list is done for the tour and here is what it looks like......
