If any of you knows of a California dealer that will accept an X-Plan order, please reply or Private Mail me. The dealer I placed my order is demanding MSRP. He said that he only makes $200 on X-Plan orders, somthing I doubt.

Thanks in advance.

California is a pretty big area…Might want to narrow it down.

Try using ford direct, find all the dealers in your area, or the newspaper and call them all. Ask for X plan, they say no move on the list. They say yes…well do I have to tell you? Go down and order.

If you are near LAX I can help you out.

A LAX area dealer will be close enough. I remember a Ford dealer near the 405 at the Howard Hughes exit. Is this the one you are referring to? Are you a dealer there?

Don't sweat it, everybody has new things to learn.

Ford has several discounts avaialble to employees, retirees, suppliers, and others. I suggest you search this site to learn about the different pricing plans offered.

The challange is getting a dealer to sell you a new Mustang under these plans because they could make over MSRP otherwise.

That I know of no dealer is accepting X-plan off of a Mustang off the lot. But for an order Fritts Ford and Citrus Ford were the only one's near me that would do it on an order.

Thanks ManEHawke, I'll try them. Do you have any contacts at these two dealerships?

hmmm, when i was at goodyear during the summer, we supplied the nearest ford place with tires for their trucks that came in for service.... does that mean i'm eligible? i think so...
if not, time to go make some friends at the ford place

I am not sure where you are, but I did buy mine off the lot for the X-plan price in Eureka, CA. I took a train from San Diego to go pick up my car. The dealer was great during the entire selling process. They took a deposit over the phone via credit card, but didn't actually charge my card.

Let me know if you are interested and I can get my salesperson at the dealer.

Good Luck!

P.S. I searched the entire western USA via Ford direct to find this car. I searched for 4 full days (over two weekends) to find the color combo and a dealer who would honor the X-plan price.

xplan, just make a topic asking for a plan and someone will respond in a record time offering you one.
The plan saves you about 2 grand or so. It's a little bit over Invoice pricing.

My saving from MSRP was $3,000. It was a long search, with the exception of the IUP (which I really wanted, but could not find), I got what I wanted.

Regards,
Beckie

Anyone know of Johnson Controls. I was told that we (JCI) get $500 under invoice. Is that what the X-Plan is? When I bought mine they said they don't even have an invoice price yet. Although I bought mine in the beginning of Nov. I think they were just anxious for the sale.

500 under invoice is one heck of a deal, It's about the same, if not lower, than A plan.
