OH MY GOD! I just got back from driving a 2011 GT. My poor Mustang now feels like crap! I cannot believe how much nicer the 2011 is now. And do not get me started on the clutch and shifter! I thought my clutch was light until I got in the 2011. It didn't even feel like my foot was on a pedal. Like I was pushing air!
Congrats Tread! I'm happy for you!
Yes, the new Mustang feels very nice! I just took mine out for the first time on a drive of over 30 miles yesterday. All kinds of crazy traffic, mini vans/suvs cutting me off going there.
But, the drive home was really nice! The car is VERY good on the freeway. A real good road trip car, very smooth, very stable, almost drives itself. I'm glad I went ahead with the purchase of my 2011 GT after all the delays I had on mine!

For a while it seemed that Ford had gotten the delivery time down to the normal 6-8 weeks, but I saw a new thread on the 2010+ forum that was talking about further delays. At least you won't have to wait the six plus months that I had to!

I don't think you will have to. I think maybe 8 weeks is all.
What mods are you going to do? CAI? Flowmaster hushpowers axle backs?
I'm spending so much money on my 65 that I'll have to wait for a while on any mods to the 2011!

That's good!
I drove mine around this weekend. It's really smooth on the freeway. The steering tracks right down the line. Almost drives itself!
I got my 65 back from the soda blast guys. The panels turned out mostly pretty good, better then I had hoped. However there was a big patch on the RH fender, so we'll replace that fender since it's cheaper then messing around with another patch.

No, I didn't know about that. There was a couple of dime sized spots in the paint, but when it came back from blasting, that's what there was. A new fender is only around $160. Not too bad.....
