Well, that sounds pretty good.......

Well worth the money!

I have just a couple more mods to do on mine. A polished billet E-brake handle, and a pair of blue LED dome lights!

http://www.americanmuscle.com/2005-e...-aluminum.html

That should be about the end of my mods program. At least for the time being!

Here it is!

I just installed a Scott Drake brushed fuse box cover. Looks pretty cool. Dresses up the engine a little more.

Have you guys seen how the gas prices have gone up? And I have to fill up tomorrow.

Tread, I drove by that new Walmart on White settlement road on Tuesday, and the gas prices were 20 cents a gallon less then up here where I live. Do you know how much they are charging there now?

I know you live close by there......

Never mind, it's the same price as up here now. $2.69/gallon!

That QT near White Settlement/820 has been my pitstop from Sherman to Kerrville for the last 3 trips to Kerrville. It was consistently $0.20 cheaper than anywhere between those points.

Tread, I order my runners from KC. Hope he does have some left for ya.

Thanks for the tip Ghost!

Hey, did you guys make it to the Air show? I didn't because I've seen the Blue Angles quite a few times. I used to live out near a Marine Air base in California where they came about every year.

If the Thunderbirds with the F-16's that I used to work on were there. I would have gone since I haven't seen the T-birds since they've been flying F-16's........

I went on Saturday. Took the kiddo; her first airshow. She enjoyed it. Usual fanfare. New to me was an F/A-18 Super Hornet demo and the US Army had an AH-1 Cobra team with four choppers that did maneuvers. The helicopter pilots were pretty good, but since the choppers lacked speed, it didn't have the same excitement as the jets.

There was a F-117 and B-2 flyover, so that was neat. Harrier demo always is cool. Nothing like a jet just hovering in mid-air. Then usual assortment of prop planes, F-16, F-15 and other aircraft. We had to leave at 2:30pm, so we didn't get to see the Blue Angels. I'm sure she would have liked that. I was hoping to see a F-22. Dunno if one was scheduled or not.

You didn't see the Blue Angles? Oh man!

The F-35 will have a "B" model that will hover as well. The first one moved out the Mate jig (where all the major section of the airplane are joined) on Saturday, and should fly by May of next year!

It's starting to look like an airplane.......

I was at the airshow Saturday as well. The kiddo's and I got there when the Harrier was doing it's thing. We saw the B-2 from the highway. I wish I would've known it was gonna be there. There was no F-22 scheduled here but, there was one at Sheppard AFB in Witchita Falls at their airshow. I posted a few Blue Angels pics here.

Thanks! I can't believe you haven't seen the Thunderdirds since they have been in F-16's. They are great! I hope they come back here soon. I have not seen them in a while.

Yeah, I haven't seen them since they've been in F-16's either. I would like to see them maybe next year?

Had a Honda try to cut me off as I was trying to get on the Freeway yesterday. He didn't do it to me! Love that V8 power!

They normally alternate at the air shows here. One year would be the Thunderbirds, the next year would be the Blue Angels.

Hehe...ya...gotta love that raw power from the V8. Torque all the time. Not the wussy gotta-rev-high-to-get-power like all the ricers and foreign cars.
