Jeff I will be there at gate opening. So about 5:45 or so.

 

Well I get of at 6pm but I think I am going to work through part of my lunch and get out of here by 5:30 and going to go check the tire pressure and add a little gas and I will be good to go!

 

Bad news guys...... I just checked the Tulsa Raceway Park web site and it says that the T&T is cancelled tonight due to construction. This is BS. I don't understand why if it's not a main line event they close the track. I have missed 4 nights to race because of BS excuses. Dumb, real Dumb.

How can they just do that... I mean some people come from all over hundreds of miles to go to testntune and now its cancelled! Oh and the next TNT isnt till the 1st of June!! Due to better events scheduled apparently

 

That sucks! At least my record is safe for now!

I'm back at work... been here all week.

 

I tell you, I may show up out there anyway. I half wonder if they do that just to keep the high school kids from going? The last time they closed I heard that there were still cars racing up there. I don't understand how they can make any money if they close the track every other week for some sort of BS.

I just sent a nasty email to the owner. Letting him know how dissapointing it is to schedule events for your club, just to be informed a few hours before the event that it has been cancelled. If it were the first time I'd be ok. But come on this is like the 4th time they have cancelled the T&T for no good reason. My personal opinion is that they just don't want anyone on the track until the sooner nationals. I might drive out there at 6:00 just to see if there are cars or not. The weather is perfect I just don't get it.
