The last time we went to the track I was leaving at idle and still spinning. On the last run I hooked and wish I would have left a bit harder. It would have been the difference between the 13.4 and a 13.2. You can leave at around 1200 and slip the clutch a little and that might work.?

I am thinking about airing up my front tires to 44psi and taking the rears down to 24psi and trying to launch at around 2000-3000rpms slipping the clutch... man I need practice.. I'm not used to slipping the clutch. Is there a trick to it?

Thanks looks like 3500 is about right which is close to what I was thinking. of course taking into consideration that TRP has a slick surface. I will start at aroud 3000-3500 and slip out to keep the RPMs up high and see if I dont go 12 somthing on the first run???

Yeah I think you have it right. Youve got the tools to get to the 12s. How does the day look for Friday night?

I would resist the temptation to lower the rear tire pressure too much on street tires as they run better at or close to the recommended pressure. It keeps more of the tire surface on the track. I would raise your front pressure for sure for less rolling resistance.

As far as the slipping thing goes just imagine leaving a stop light keeping it smooth but much faster. more gas with slightly quicker clutch release. But don't dump it. Hard to explain.
