Just got back from Bob's... He took me for a "little" ride. For an old $#@$@#$ the boy can drive! It's no longer a bling mobile.... It's a SLING mobile. WOW. That **** pulls hard, stops hard and corners like a it was on rails. Did I mention the whine? Truely awesome. It's not even close to being the same car. All I can say is WOW! I'm sold!

I talked to the same guy today. Mine will probably go down for the same treatment in two weeks if my schedule works out.

 

Oh great now everyone but me will have a SC! I guess I better sell all my belongings and pony up if I want to play too. Anyone want to buy anything its now all for sale.

Oh nevermind fellas on the fund raiser. Just got a call from bob I'm set!

 

So Jarrod what kind of times have you run at the track so far?

 

Well I baught her last september and took her to the track for the last midnight drags you could go to. At that time I only had AFE CAI, Bamachips 91 Performance tune, and pypes o/f X midpipe. Ran a 13.9 @ 104 with lots of wheel spin, then managed a 13.7@ 104 with again a ton of wheel spin. Dont know my 60ft due to them not giving timeslips at the midnights, but I can assure it it was well above 2.0 haha. It was partly my fault, I wasnt slipping the clutch.... basically holding the rpms around 3k and dropping the clutch like I did with my 85 GT. Well now that I have done a little research on our cars... found out that slipping the clutch and easing her out of the hole nets the best ET's. My Steeda CMCV delete plates and Steeda underdrive pulleys are sitting in the living room waiting to be bolted on. Just ordered my Bamachips 91 Race tune today from Doug... hoping to get them on this week and get to the test-N-tune friday.. but most likely wont get done till this weekend and to the track next weekend.. cant wait to see what she runs... hoping for low 13's
