Hopefully the rain will hold off for this evening. Only a slight chance this evening. However, it's suppose to move in after midnight. Let's just hope it's not early. Also, it's suppose to hit 90 today, which kinda sucks. I was hoping for a really cool night with low humidity.

Anyone do any prep to there cars? I cleaned my air filter last night. That alone should shave off 3 secs on my times…

Jeff, are you going to run your 93 tune? I gonna do the mix 104 oct mix again. If so, do you wanna meet at my house or just at the track???

 

It's probably going to be easier for me to just meet you at the track. I am only going to run my 91 tune bc I don't have time to run to BA to get the racing fuel before they close due to work today.

Good news Paul, the award money for the club was in CASH. I will be there at 630. I have to run my car through a car wash since it rained yesterday and last night.

BTW Paul, we sign a contract for our house in Owasso Wednesday. I am SOOOO looking forward to having a garage, finally. Let the mods continue!

BTW, my intake cover should give me a full car length over you!

Congrats on the HOUSE! I can't remember.. 2 or 3 car garage? That the main thing I look for in a home!

P.S. The intake cover is a least good for 1.5 car lengths!

Ok, who won ?

 

Unfortunately no one won. I had to work late and Paul and I decided to postpone until more people could come to the track because as of 5pm on Friday it was just me and Paul. We are tentatively planning on Friday, October 6th.

Just got notice from the Green Country Mustang Club that I won second place at their recent car show, did not know until this morning because I had to leave the show early.

I'm back.....my brother is finally home. For those of you that did not know my brother was in a traffic accident on the turnpike, he blacked out at 75mph and then crashed, when he blacked out he was dead ( Sudden Cardiac Death - heart stops beating ) when the air bags went off they hit him so hard that his heart started to beat again, if he did not have that accident he would have been dead, I will never gripe about air bags again...long story short I have been going back and forth between OKC and Tulsa.

Can not believe how dead our forum is and when I have been able to go to the BYB Tuesday evenings I have not seen anyone else.

The last time I saw anyone was at the GCMC show and that was Paul and Jeff. What an experience that was, my first car show. Left early but after all the judging was completed. The following week got notified that my car placed second.....never heard about the special board award that Jeff said I was going to get, this one individual really went over the car and asked me a ton of questions and according to Jeff he was a board member that could do special awards. Oh well, live and learn.

One of these days I will figure how these car shows works and when I do will post and let everyone in our club know so we can take care of each other. One of my dogs is an AKC show champion and if I was that stupid to get involved in dog shows I am sure I can figure out car shows.

What is going on out there, has everyone sold there stangs and gotten on the waiting list for the new Cameros and just not told me ?

Paul, have you had an accident with your air tanks ?

Matt, I assume you are married now ?

Paul, did you survive all your hard work at the GCMC show ?

 

Hey Bobby. Glad to hear your Brother is doing better. That's a wild series of events...

I've been real busy with other things, so I've been quite. I'll explain later. Also been getting ready for my dive trip to Dominica. I leave tomorrow suckers!

I think Matt is in that "new marrige bubble". And Jeff's been pretty busy with the new house.

We are planning to hit the drags in about two weeks. I think the date is going to be Oct 27th. Hope everyone can make it. We still have our prize money from the GCMC show. So that will pay the entrance fees for our member into the track. In any case, we'll get together soon!
