Check this out:
A downtown park that was the scene of civil-rights rallies in the 1960s will be the staging ground today for a peaceful protest of last weekend's change of a gospel FM station to a rock format.
Willis Pride, who lost his job as program director at Hallelujah 105.5 last week when Clear Channel Radio switched the station to Vulcan Rock 105.5, is organizing the protest slated to begin at noon at Kelly Ingram Park, Fifth Avenue North and 17th Street. Pride said he, several ministers and supporters of the gospel station with the historic call letters WENN will speak at the Kelly Ingram Park.
"This is not meant to bash Clear Channel, but to let them know what Hallelujah 105.5 FM meant to this community," Pride said Friday. "It was more than a station, but a ministry that touched many lives in a positive way."
Pride said he is expecting a large turnout of both black and white gospel-music fans, based on response to e-mails and media inquiries. Pride said the decision didn't make sense because Hallelujah 105.5 had become a Top 5 station in ratings.
Clear Channel Operations Manager Tom Hanrahan had no comment about the planned protest. He previously said Clear Channel is switching to alternative rock as a business move to fill a void left by Citadel Broadcasting's decision to pull the plug on The X 100.5, the city's only alternative rock station.

Btw, 105.5 acquired Lex and Terry as thier morning show. I guess since its all Clear Channel owned, it was an easy syndication.
i'll tell you sirius gets a tad addicting.
i live in philly, and between the NY stations that make it far enough, the south jersey stations down by the shore, and the actual philly radio.. i live in probably the best radio area in the country. BUT, i still only listen to terestrial radio when preston and steve are on. (local morning show, they podcast EVERYONE should listen to the podcast) i lvoe sirius, faction, alt nation, octane, hits 1, the comedy and playboy. all make for some awesome listening.
