107.7 The X has invaded Z 100.5 like a cancer. First Beaner and Ken are booted, now "you will be able to hear The X on 107.7 and 100.5" according to their web site. Why in the world would I want to do that? Bring back the Z!

Yeah i was trying to pull up z1005.com last night and kept getting redirected to WRAX.com.. i was slightly peeved

 

I Miss that station!!!!! Only one you could hear Tool, RATM and other not so mainstream bands. Heck z100.5 didnt even do that

 

Yeah, we need a station like Rocket 95.1 in Huntsville. Maybe it's time to invest in XM? That seems to be the only place to get good rock/metal music.

Also, I just got this from someone else I was having the same discussion with.

"fyi, there was an article on this very subject in sunday's paper. it said that the station now known as 107.7 the "X", will move to what is now known as Z100.5. they will change the name of Z100.5 to 100.5 the "X" and 107.7 will be switching formats to "urban" programming"

Just when I didn't think it could get any worse.

No, up until a few months ago I listened to them every morning. I just got tired of hearing about all the new stuff they've bought with the $$ they're making now. Someone on the show sells a house and buys a new at least every six months. They USED TO be funny.
