Stang parade pictures
Hey guys!
Here are pictures.
It was a great time. We had one late entry (93 LX), but they made it and, thanks to the pit crew, we got it cleaned up in 5 minutes.
I think thats a new record.
Did anyone get picture of us during the actual parade?
I totally forgot to take a quick shot of us. DOH!!
Enjoy!

Well it's like this. It's knida country up here, and the AM weather really sucked. Had a little time to kill soooooooooooooo, I gambled. Besides I hadent detailed her since our trip to meet you at Yeehaw Junction, and I wanted to get YOUR scoops on. Once we relocated to the staging area, after meticulously caring for all our rides, I got a little help from our friends, and was able to get some of the Mod's started. The Mustang's stole the show at the Parade, and left a little bit of rubber souvenier pieces for the locals too. Waiting for photolabgirl to post the good shots. Me thinks the delay may be in the neccessary editing. (LOL)

I washed my car earlier that morning and then it started to sprinkle as I was washing. It was on and off, from the morning through the early afternoon, and ended just before the parade started.
It stopped just in time for Dave put on the mods and they look great.
People kept yelling for us to do burn outs so we gave them a good show.
I did it quite a few times and then started smelling clutch burn so instead I just tossed them some candy and gave them a holiday cheer.
Dave,
For next year, if you want to use the Pit Crew, we'll go for a new record of less than 5 minutes.

Here are some more pics
After the parade , some Vett's pulled up behind us. It was kinda funny because the parking lot was pretty much empty in that area, but they pulled up right to us.
Met up before the parade at the Homosassa Wal-Mart
Staging area before the parade, dodging the raindrops
Right after the parade we pulled into the mall parking lot
Overall it was awesome! Can't wait till next year Maybe we will have more Stangs join us.

LOL.
yeah maybe next year we will get a few more stangs.
*hint hint*
No brakestands for me I let the rest of them do that. That doesnt mean I didnt have any fun it was just funny to see the people in front of us get nervous when we started to rev up and get a little crazy.

Everyone would have loved the VETT momment. They pulled up to us. They were telling us that even though they were further back in the parade that they heard about the "Stangs"
*wooooo hooooo I think I just got goosebumps*

What better place to do it than at a parade. That was great!
I heard that the people in the float behind was fuming because of all the tire smoke.
I guess thats how everyone else knew about us.
Looks like the organizers will probably put us last at next years parade.
Oh well. You know what they say, "save the best for last".
I'm looking forward to next year.

Hey Everyone!
Finally I was able to receive an email from Perry with all the links. I can not start keeping in touch with everyone. I do like the parade pics.... they turned out very well. It is a shame not many showed up, but there is always room for improvement. I do know I will not make it for Silver Springs registration, but I maybe able to get there Sunday. I will have to check and a see.
