Here is my first Custom. The carb cleaner worked great to remove the tampos. I had a source of inspiration in the background.

Here is what i have bought in the last 2 weeks, and yes black is my favorite color....

The 1/24 scale red mustang is a concept convertible that i found at walgreens in there $10 maisto cars section they sell. I really love that those stores have toy sections. I have found so much good stuff there over the years.

Way to go! Who would have thunk the red '05 GT Concept convertible would still be found in stores today. Congrats!

Thanks Luke, I'm really pleased with it. The colour is a little too yellow......ironically, School Bus Yellow as more orange, but otherwise it's a great model. A notch or two above a similar sized Maisto, I'd say. It's currently on display next to my Shelby Collectibles 1/18 2013 Boss 302......in SBY, of course

Nice!! 1/18 is a bit big for my liking. I have a few....Yeah the yellow in your picture does look not orangey enough. But, awesome either way!

Working on customizing this C10 I found. When I'm done it should be bright red, tan interior, and sit about where it does now.

Well not as nice as I would have liked, but good enough. I modeled this truck after what I plan to make my 64 GMC look like. Since they don't make a GMC diecast I had to use a C10 and then search around for a piggy bank GMC to get the grille off of. Then I had to lengthen the grille because the bank was smaller than the diecast.

Thanks!

Of course my dad noticed I have the wrong front bumper on it. lol

GMCs didn't have the bumper guards, but I didn't want to cut up my only front bumper for it.
